Content Moderation Statement
GenDance Content Moderation Statement: pornography and NSFW video generation is strictly prohibited. Pre-generation screening, post-generation checks, human review, reporting and appeals.

1. Our position
GenDance is an AI platform for creating trendy short videos, images, and music. We want it to stay safe and lawful for everyone. This statement explains what content we prohibit and how we moderate it. It supplements the GenDance Terms of Service and the Acceptable Use Policy.
2. Prohibited content — including NSFW video
GenDance strictly prohibits pornography and NSFW (not-safe-for-work) content in all generation types — including AI video generation. Along with the other prohibited categories in our Acceptable Use Policy (violence and gore, hate speech, child sexual abuse material, non-consensual deepfakes, and intellectual property infringement), prompts that request such content are blocked before any generation begins.
3. How we moderate
- Pre-generation prompt screening — Every user prompt is screened by automated content-moderation systems, including the Creem Content Moderation API, before it is sent to an AI model. Prompts classified as prohibited (deny or flag) are rejected immediately and never reach the model. If the moderation service is unavailable, generation is blocked rather than allowed (fail-closed), so no prompt is processed without a moderation decision.
- Post-generation checks — Generated media and provider-side safety signals are evaluated after generation to detect prohibited visual or audio content before results are delivered or stored.
- Human review — Ambiguous, high-risk, or user-flagged activity is escalated to our trust and safety team for manual inspection and determination.
4. What happens on a violation
- The violating request is blocked; no credits are charged for blocked requests.
- Confirmed violations may result in content removal, feature suspension, or permanent account termination with forfeiture of unused credits.
- Cases involving child sexual abuse material or other severe illegality are referred to law enforcement and reporting agencies such as the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC).
5. Reporting & appeals
- Report prohibited content or conduct to support@gendance.app with the subject line "[Content Moderation Report]", including the task identifier (Task ID) and a brief description. Reports are typically reviewed within 24–48 hours.
- Appeal — if you believe a request was blocked or an account was restricted in error, email support@gendance.app with an explanation and evidence, and we will re-evaluate the decision.
6. Changes to this statement
We may update this statement as our moderation tooling and legal obligations evolve. The "Last Updated" date above reflects the current version.
